Tatting events
Happy 2019 Everyone - as the bells RING in the new year, the Fringe will focus on a theme of Ring A Ding.

Last year we looked at tatting skills and proficiency programs. This year we will be zeroing in on tatting implements and resources in our e-newsletters.
If you have favorite and reliable websites that you use, please send the information to us and we will compile a list for a future newsletter. There are so many patterns and informational websites that we hope to let everyone share the knowledge.

Our first article has been included in the attachment which allows people to print and save these items if desired. First up this year - needle tatting.
Please have a look, comments and ideas are always appreciated.

Exchange
The theme for this year's exchanges is RING A DING. The first project this year is to make: a favorite motif using a lot of rings.
The ring is one of our basic building blocks in tatting. And there are a lot of different types of rings - central mock rings (aka self-closing mock rings), onion rings, folded rings, half-closed rings (aka shells), split rings, stacked rings, and curled rings and interlocking rings. (Thanks to the Queensland Tatters who focused on this in 2018 for the ideas)

Deadlines
Please send an email to fringetatters@gmail.com with the word EXCHANGE in the subject line if you wish to participate and will abide by the deadlines.
1. Let us know by January 12 that you will participate (once you commit, please begin tatting)
2. Your recipient's name will be sent to you by January 15
3. Your item MUST reach its destination by March 31.
